How Dressher makes money

Some of the shops on Dressher pay us a small commission when you buy something after tapping through from here. It never changes what you pay. That is the whole arrangement.

What that means in practice

• You tap a piece here and land on the shop's own website. If you buy, the shop may pay us a percentage of the order, usually between 4% and 20%.
• Your price is identical either way. The commission comes out of the shop's margin, not your basket.
• Plenty of the shops here pay us nothing at all — Zara, Brandy Melville and Aritzia among them. They are in Dressher because you want them, not because they pay.

What it does not mean

We do not order results by what pays us. What you see is ranked by how well it matches what you asked for. A shop cannot buy a better position, and if that ever changes, the page will say so on the screen where it happens, not in a document like this one.

We are not paid to recommend a brand in "Brands like yours". Those suggestions come from prices and the kinds of clothes a shop sells, compared with the brands already in your closet.

Why we are telling you

Because the US Federal Trade Commission requires it, and because a shopping app that hides how it is paid does not deserve to be trusted with what you are looking for.
