Dressher searches the clothing stores you pick and sends you to their websites to buy. We keep as little about you as we can, we have no advertising or analytics trackers on the site, and we never sell anything about you to anyone.
What we keep

We do not ask for your name, your address, your age, your phone number or your location, and there is nowhere to enter a card. We do not keep web server logs of the pages you view.
Emails
If you give us your email — at the end of the first-run questions, or by creating an account — you are on Dressher's list, and the sentence beside the box says what that means: Reminders before your event and sales on pieces in your size. Unsubscribe in one tap.
We ask you to confirm your address before we send anything else. Every email has a link that takes you off the list in one tap, with no sign-in, and that stops every email from us, reminders and price alerts included. When you unsubscribe we keep your address marked as unsubscribed, so it is never written to again. We never sell, rent or hand the list to anyone. We send email through our email provider, which keeps your address and what you told the first-run questions (your event, sizes, budget and brands) only so it can send our emails for us, and which records whether an email was opened or a link in it tapped, so we can tell which emails are worth sending. Deleting everything removes you from it too.
Text messages
If you tick Text me too and give a mobile number, we keep the number and the exact words you agreed to, and use them only to send the texts described in our text terms. Reply STOP to any text and they stop. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party, except the provider that sends the messages for us. A number given without ticking the box is not kept.
Sharing your picks
If you tap Share my picks, we make one link that shows the pieces you have saved — and nothing else: not your email, your brands or your size. Anyone you send it to can see those pieces while the link is on. Turn link off, in Saved, stops it straight away, and deleting your account turns it off too. Nothing is shared unless you share it.
Cookies
One cookie, called rack_sid. It holds a random number that tells our server which
saved pieces are yours. It lasts 120 days, cannot be read by other websites, and is not used to
follow you anywhere. There are no advertising, analytics or social media cookies on this site.
Your browser also remembers which brand buttons you have switched off, the sizes in the filters, and the school you picked for game day. That stays on your device. The sizes and the school travel with each search so the results can use them, and we do not store them from there.
Other companies that see something
- The stores' own image servers. Photographs of clothes are loaded straight from the shops that sell them, so those companies see that a device asked for a picture. We tell your browser not to say which page asked for it.
- Our host. The site runs on a server we rent. Nobody else runs code on this site, and the typefaces are served from it too, so no font company sees you either.
- Zara. When you search, our server asks Zara, not your browser. Zara does not see you.
We expect to add affiliate networks, which is how the site is paid for. When that happens, tapping a piece will pass through the network so it can credit the sale, and the network may set a cookie on the shop's website. Today taps go straight to the shop. This page will say so the day that changes.
How long we keep it
- Your account, brands and saved pieces: until you delete them.
- Your place on the email list: until you delete everything. Unsubscribing keeps the address only to stop us writing again.
- If you never created an account and never picked a brand, everything about you is deleted after 14 days.
- Taps through to shops: about 13 months, then deleted automatically.
Deleting everything
Sign in, open your account, and choose Delete everything. It removes your account, your brands, your saved pieces, your shared link, your place on the email list, every sign-in, and the record of what you tapped. It happens immediately and it cannot be undone. If you would rather we did it, write to hello@shopdressher.com and we will.
You can also ask us what we hold about you, and we will tell you.
Children
Dressher is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly keep anything about them.
Changes
If this page changes we will change the date at the top. Sizeable changes will be said plainly on the site rather than buried here.
